Energy Networks Australia (ENA) is the peak national body representing gas distribution and electricity transmission, and distribution businesses throughout Australia. Twenty-five electricity and gas network companies are members of ENA, providing governments, policymakers and the community with a single point of reference for major energy network issues in Australia.
The Australian Energy Council (AEC) represents 22 major electricity and downstream natural gas businesses operating in competitive wholesale and retail energy markets. These businesses collectively generate the overwhelming majority of electricity in Australia, and sell gas and electricity to more than 10 million homes and businesses.
The Electric Energy Society of Australia (EESA) is a national society established to advance interests in electric energy. The EESA provides continuous professional development to members who have an interest in electric energy, encompassing generation, transmission, distribution, retail, and customer end-use.
The Energy Users Association of Australia (EUAA) was formed in 1996 to provide a single national association to effectively represent and service the needs of Australian energy users. It exists to assist members in running efficient and profitable businesses as they relate to their energy use.
