The National Renewable Network (NRN), a leading platform revolutionising access to renewable energy assets in Australia, is proud to announce the successful completion of its $1M pre-Series A bridge funding round.

NRN’s model is designed to revolutionise how consumers access distributed energy resources for their homes and businesses, making sustainable energy solutions more accessible and impactful.

NRNโ€™s model aligns with the objectives of energy retailers and consumers, offering solar and battery installations at no upfront cost. This approach reduces homeownersโ€™ energy bills, increases property values, and supports grid stability.

By 2030, NRN aims to outfit hundreds of thousands of Australian homes with cost-cutting solar and battery systems, significantly advancing renewable energy usage. By 2040, this impact is expected to scale to over 2 million homes worldwide.

The Asia-Pacific-based venture capital firm Investible led this round through its Climate Tech Fund.ย Investible contributed over $400,000 to the funding round.

โ€œWe are thrilled to support NRN in their mission to make renewable energy accessible to all Australians,โ€ Investible Climate Tech Fund investment manager Ben Lindsay said.

โ€œTheir innovative model addresses environmental and economic challenges, providing a scalable solution that benefits homeowners, energy retailers, and the broader energy grid.โ€

NRN CEO Alan Hunter said, โ€œSecuring this Pre-Series A funding is a crucial step in setting the foundation for a large Series A round later this year.
